THE TEAM The men behind Inland Packers are Dave DeBoer and Mel Yoshikawa. Dave has been in the meat industry his whole life starting in the Netherlands where he attended the school of food technology going on to become a master meat cutter and sausage maker. After arriving in Canada in 1974 Dave continued in both the retail and commercial meat business. In addition to running Inland Packers Dave still owns a very successful retail location that keeps him in touch with the consumer on a daily basis. Mel has been involved in the meat industry, including exporting to countries around the world for more than 30 years.
